About Giles Daoust
A Solvay Business School graduate, Giles Daoust (b. 1979) is a writer, director and producer based in Brussels (Europe) and Los Angeles (USA).
He has directed 3 feature films: Artefacts (2008), The Room (2006) and Last Night on Earth (2004) (which recently was remade in the US under the title A Broken Life (2008)), as well as several short films, documentaries, commercials and corporate films
He has produced and directed several live shows, including the Ommegang, Brussels’ biggest historical show (on Brussels Grand Place), and created Ciné Quest - Concours Cinéma Belge.
He also produces music for films and shows, and on occasion, he is a painter, photographer and composer.
Giles Daoust founded film production company Title Films SA (with Golden Globe Winning director Alain Berliner), and music production company Soundtrack Nation SPRL (with composer Ernst W. Meinrath).
He is represented by Original Artists (Beverly Hills, CA).
